PLR is located on the privately owned island of Pangkor Laut situated off the West coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The island is reached by the resort’s boat from the Marina Island Pangkor Jetty.
The distance from Kuala Lumpur is about 250 Kilometres.
On arrival in Marina Island,you are required to register at the Resort office, you will then be escorted to the ferry jetty for your transfer by boat to the Resort.
And once you arrive, feast your eyes with the amazing views and surrounding of the resort….

Bath House Ritual – this is an must not miss experience. Whatever treatment you have you will go through a 45min bath ritual which involves a cold Malay bath, aromatic steam for relaxation, Japanese bath house, a 38 degree hot bath in a Japanese Hot Spring & then a Shanghai body scrub! All the while being offered hot & cold Japanese teas. And then your treatment starts!

Thumbs to 80 yrs old Uncle Lim the chef of the restaurant aptly called “Uncle Lim”. Superb delicious food. We had our meals for 2 nights at this place. The Breakfast was really good with a huge variety of cuisine to choose from, Indian, Chinese, Malay, Western etc etc.
Amazing Sunset @ Emerald Bay
Emerald Bay is situated on the other side of the island, you have to take a 10mins shuttle bus to get there. The beach is clean and the its Emerald in colour indeed. Nice comfy chairs to lounge the whole day by the beach.
